I pray with all my heart that we'll get to sing these at St. Paul's someday. Mass XII does wonderful things for the soul.
Even though I appreciate Mass of the Angels (Mass VIII), I've read that I'll be accused of being a "throwback" if I try to do it.

Considering that...
a) Pepsi Throwback is better than regular Pepsi
b) Victorian and Edwardian dress has made a comeback among some groups of disaffected youth, inadvertently resulting in more modest clothes
c) Chant has been used in video games instead of more modern music (because of its ethereal, fantasy-like sound)...
...I would say that being a throwback is gaining popularity.
