oooo preview picture shows black vestments! it MUST be good (can't watch yet - might freak out the kid from Afghanistan if I start playing sacred chant here in the grad lounge...)
It is very late, the body is weary, it has been a trying day, and I am listening to this uplifting and ethereal music, catching glimpses of the imagery therein (listening to commentary, learning), while scanning your blog, surfing the web.
I love your blog, Mary (and Celestine). Thank God for St. Paul Athens Saturday Schola... You know that TH2 is your loyal follower.
The music is otherworldly, isn't it? I'm terribly excited to go this year, and sorry that I missed the experience last year.
Since the colloquium is so close this year, I'm planning to attend BOTH the chant intensive AND the colloquium (they're held on consecutive weeks.) I hope the knowledge I acquire will help me start (or continue) a movement toward sacred music at St. Paul's.
I hope this music helped you relax from your rough day, and I pray that today is better for you.

MCK, I'd say that Afghani kid NEEDS to hear the chant. Go for it!
My Most Loyal Follower TH2,
