Unless one is involved in construction, it's difficult to sneak up on the offending heretic with a board. However, an organ pipe looks so interesting, and may actually pique the curiosity of said heretic. Simply inform the heretic that his/her shoe is untied (what a clever trick!) and....voila; the heretic has some sense knocked in!(At least we can hope and pray that it is so.)
Ahhhhhhh, very good suggestion, Mary. You are also correct about the versatility aspect. The pipe can also be used as a blow dart gun. Yes? With big darts, however. And you can fire from a distance and not be seen.

He also makes vitamins, engines for both Honda and VW, airplanes, and has a route on the NYC public transit in Brooklyn. ;)

Yeah Baby! He's multitalented and multifaceted.
Perhaps I should mention that this picture was taken while Celestine and I were helping to tune the reed pipes at Galbreath Chapel.
And not to spoil all the fun, but these are NOT reed pipes (does anyone care about this? haha!)
These are flue pipes for the 16-foot Bourdon, Great division.
Look like 2x4's to me.
TH2: for whacking heretics, these are probably even more versatile than 2x4's.
Now there's an idea. Always looking to improve the weaponry.
