License Plates

Saw an curious license plate today on a big black Dodge Ram: EKS AMISH. Heh, I wonder if he's trying to rub it in the face of his buggy-riding neighbors.

A VW Beetle in town has plates that read "EW A BUG"

We're giving up our EWTN license plate (sniff sniff); the fees have gone up AGAIN.

The funniest plate I've seen (on a Mustang website) is "HLO OFCR".

I love license plates like that! I saw one on a bug (not a regulation plate, but like the European ones) that said V Double U. Hehehehe

PS - Sad day for the EWTN plate! How will I ever pick you out amongst the vehicles here? (I do sometimes - HEY THAT'S MARY!!!!! Usually just to myself - maybe that's sad...)

It makes me sad, too, MCK! Plus, it's one of the old-style plates that are kinda rare these days. I've even used that plate to identify my van in parking lots because it (the van) has many identical/near identical siblings.

it does, which makes my conundrum of identifying Mary even more troubling! Oh NOs!!

"Hello officer, it's a beautiful day, isn't it?--what? 120? No, I wasn't, my speedometer is broken. Well--then, your radar gun must be broken. What?--oh, well--that's odd! It only felt like 80!"
