I've noticed that some people like to quote, "Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword!" all the while contentedly ignoring the whole "Let he who does not have a sword go out and buy one" (Luke 22:36) thingy.
Not to mention, of course, that some saints died by the sword... (shrugs)
