Oddly, the congregation was not the singingest we've ever had; no idea why.
Introit
No one knew this one, although they started to get it after a few verses. I suppose everyone was expecting the other Christ the Lord is Risen Today. Mary must be e*d*g*y, so this is the one for us:
Christ the Lord is Risen Today
MCK was called on to do the psalm at the last minute, since Stephen is ill (say a prayer for him.)
Psalm-Lord, let your mercy be on us..
Wish this was longer, but it seemed silly to repeat it.
Regina Caeli
Pseasonal Psalm for Communion

Bells ringing in the background sure does bring back memories of childhood. Could hear them from across the ravine on Sundays. Gone are those days. Now is the age of The Crystal Cathedral and particle beam lasers.
Introit with the bells in the background was awesome!
Christ the Lord is Risen Today: Featuring the voice of Husband!
...I was one of those who didn't know this version so well! Hehe.
Yay for the Regina Caeli, it sounded so good. I wish it were longer too!
Pseasonal Psalm. Tehe.
TH2: I was happy before reading your comment, but now I'm going for the vodka. That's really depressing. If you ever make it down here to the Land of NASCAR :-) you'll have to hear our bells live. They're the real thing, too; not an electronic facsimile.
MCK: I usually try to time things so that we're finished before the bells start, but I actually liked it this way. Maybe we'll start late more often.
We'll do another Marian hymn next week to wrap up May. Count on practicing next Friday; the entire week is looking horrendous, but everything awful (read: time-consuming) will be finished Thursday night. Come to the spring concert if you can; it should be great! The combined choirs are singing Mahler's Der klagende lied (the hardest thing I've ever sung in my life), and there will be other music too.
German goof: I should have typed "Das klagende lied." Apologies!
