Here is part 3 of L'Ascension (The Ascension). Translated title:
"Outburst of joy from a soul before the Glory of Christ which is its own glory." The organist is Olivier Latry, one of three Titular Organists at Notre Dame in Paris, and one the finest organists in the world. I was privileged to see him in Columbus in October at St. Joseph Cathedral.

Hey Now Mary I saw him too! :)
You, me, and a whole lot of other very fortunate people!
SNORE!!
Seriously, who can sit and listen to anyone play the organ but Mary or Ross and not fall asleep at the pew?
*cough**snort**cough*
You, erm...are...joking, right?...

Anonymous, that attitude is PRECISELY why I'm doubting if I should even finish this degree I'm working on.
Well me for one!
That last post was in reference to the "who can sit..." post above.
Actually, as one who was forced to endure poor playing of an organ for many years and is now able to appreciate the grandeur of the properly played organ, I now understand and agree with the statement that the Organ is the "King of all instruments". Piano, guitar, etc. don't do it for me and many others when the option of hearing the well played organ at Mass or other places is ignored. In fact they (the piano, guitar, etc.) are quite painful to hear now when there is an silent organ nearby.
Well said, Inigo!
By the way...have you seen a six-fingered pianist who killed the beloved spirit of Franck?
